Privacy Policy.
We take data privacy very seriously. Because our application is serverless, your data never leaves your personal device.

1. Zero Chart Data Collection
Unlike traditional charting software, Pie Chart Maker operates entirely client-side. When you type in values, paste log contents, or drag-and-drop spreadsheets (.csv, .xlsx), all parsing and rendering calculations are performed within your browser's memory. No data is sent to external servers or stored in cloud databases.
2. Local Storage and Drafts
If you use the drafts feature to save your chart configurations, the data is saved in your browser's localStorage sandbox. It remains on your machine and is accessible only to you. You can delete these drafts at any time by clearing your browser data or using the "Delete" options in the workspace manager.
3. Sharing State via URL Hashes
When you generate a shareable link to a chart, all configuration settings are encoded directly into a base64 string contained in the URL hash (the part starting with #). Because browser clients do not send URL hashes to web servers during HTTP requests, your shared chart details are never exposed to our network infrastructure.
4. Analytics and Server Logs
We collect standard, non-identifying web analytics data (such as page views, referrer URLs, and device types) to optimize performance, layout structure, and site loading speed. This data is strictly aggregated and contains no personal information or user-inputted chart content.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. By using our tool, you agree to the conditions outlined in this policy.
